1. Disqualifications (DQ's). Yes, unfortunately, you will not qualify for every survey - in fact you might qualify for only a 25% of the surveys you receive via e-mail. Not to worry, the ones you get will keep you plenty busy. One annoying thing that occasionally happens is filling out what seems to be a long survey, and then getting DQ'ed. When this happens (and it will), try another survey or two from the company to make sure it's not a consistent problem. Most surveys should DQ you after only a few basic questions, and in a lot of cases, you will still be offered something, such as a sweepstakes entry for your time.
2. Be honest in your responses - don't try to cheat the system. There are a lot of built in safeguards in each individual survey to prevent cheating (and there are a number of ways to cheat) - as well as within the individual company. But none of those safeguards will prevent you from varying your responses from company to company. But know this, inconsistency breed's forgetfulness, which leads to providing answers that don't match on other sites, which leads to bad things.
3. Most survey sites e-mail survey opportunities, but not all, so be sure to check the parent website from time to time for ones you may have missed.
4. Often surveys will provide a time that they estimate it will take to complete a survey. I have consistently found (where video and audio are not involved), that this time is substantially over-estimated. Your mileage may vary. However, do be aware that some survey companies track the time from answer to answer, and will kick you out of the survey if they feel you are 'rushing'.
5. Each site has a threshold for payment. In general, the lower payout thresholds are the best, and most are 5 dollars and lower, but some are 10, and a couple are 50 (one of my favorites has a 50 dollar payout threshold). Still some pay directly to PayPal for each survey completed. A personal tip is to always cash out at the lowest amount you can when it becomes available.
6. When selecting survey sites, be certain to register on all survey sites that pay cash or gift cards - avoiding "sweepstakes only" sites. Surveys do take time to answer and you should be rewarded for your time, not just a chance at compensation. Several sites that were previously sweepstakes only have migrated to cash systems due to lack of participation. Additionally, be aware that a lot of sites offer 'points', instead of an actual dollar amount.
However, these points always translate into money (or products if you choose), so simple division allows you to calculate what that dollar value of any given survey is.

Free Online Paid Survey Make Money Fast at Home
Through the World Wide Web, we can render our services or trade different kinds of goods that can bring steady stream of extra income. In fact some online users earn more money within a few hours of work online than those who do a steady eight-hour job in a typical office environment. Among the channels in which people can make a living online is the information industry. Businesses and institutions need to develop their products, services, and many other studies, and one of the essential ways to test these things is to perform polls that confirm their findings. This is where home-based making money online using free online paid survey sites comes in.
You may ask, how can we get paid by just answering surveys? What is good about these polls is that they are mostly frank and straightforward. Most if not all paid survey websites begin by asking you to sign up with them and make a member profile that will define the needed statistics like age, gender, religion, location, etc. Making money online using paid survey sites is very legitimate. If you are a part of the statistics these websites are looking for, they will send you a special invitation through mail that gives you the details of the survey. In this invitation, you will be told about the nature of the survey, the time and duration of the questionnaire, and lastly how much you will earn by answering it. Most of the online polls last for 15-30 minutes.
While answering paid surveys seems like a pretty easy job, it does not mean that they are not without dangers. The effortless premise of this kind of money-making strategy makes it vulnerable to scammers. True, there are hundreds of reputable survey websites online, but there are also those that fool around with people who do not know better. In order to prevent being scammed by these good for nothing parties, make sure that you know their cash-milking modes of operation. For one, if the survey site asks you to provide payment for membership, more often than not, it does not really give legitimate paid surveys. Aside from this, do not trust those websites whose policies on payment are dubious. Sites that are very vague in giving instructions on how you get points for income are scams. Those that do no provide a guarantee that you’ll be rewarded for answering their questionnaires are also scams.
And while giving personal information is sometimes required in answering the polls, do not be tempted at any point to give them too much knowledge that may ruin things in terms of financial or identity related concerns. Social security numbers are not required in answering surveys, and neither credit card numbers. Bank account number is considerable given that the website states that it will only be used as a means to receive payment.
You must understand that income for the paid surveys differ from site to site. Many websites give cash as payment, mostly in denominations between 1 to 100 dollars per survey. High-paying surveys, it is expected, are more demanding in getting answers and strict in screening participants. There are also those which give prizes, like a new product or something. And so in signing up, make sure that the one you’re making money online using sites that clearly declare they’re giving money as payment and not something else.

Surveys are simply questionnaires about everyday products and services. Generally, most of what we answer about these products and services revolve around advertisements and personal usage of some of these. Additionally, advertisers and manufacturers like to hear what people think about the types of products they sell, so they will pay consumers for their feedback. Most online surveys are basic fill in the blanks or multiple choice formatted questions, to eliminate long answers and to make each one brief. Because what most consumers don’t have, is lots of time to fill out surveys. And keep in mind, all of the information is proprietary, most companies won’t require your personal information when surveys get completed. A huge plus for keeping our safety and security in check. Keep in mind, there are lots of different surveying sites to choose from, but which one is right for you? Some survey sites claim “big paychecks” when you do their surveys, only to find out that you have to apply for a credit card, go to grocery stores and spend your own money, or even divulge your personal credit information to collect some of the pay they offer. How to Make Money Taking Surveys
One of the most asked questions on the internet is "Can I really make extra money answering surveys?" Scams, spam and overly enthused marketers have overdone the concept of making money filling out surveys, but there are still legitimate, paying surveys out there and you can make extra money doing them.
Can you make $25 to $80 for an hour's work, the way it's been claimed? Yes, you can. BUT you can't make it very often. Just how often depends on a lot of factors, like your age, whether you're married, how you shop, if you have certain health problems, where you live and so on.
Taking surveys will not provide an income you can live on, but done with diligence and treated like a job, it can earn you good pocket money.
First of all, never, never, never pay any amount of money for the privilege of taking a survey or joining a "survey company." They tell you they have this list of survey companies and hint that you can't get the list without paying them. That's not true.
Second, do your homework. Go to any good search engine and type in "paying surveys," and see how many are listed. That's their list. Granted, they might have checked to see if the offerings are legitimate - but then again, they might not have. You can do it on your own, for free.
Third, read the list of results and go to every page that looks promising. Read the FAQ, the terms and the hype. If the site makes wild claims about how much you can make, get out of there. Most survey companies pay only a little - usually less than five dollars a survey and some of them pay only pennies. Good companies pay, some in cash, some in points you can redeem for cash or "rewards" or "prizes." Find out which ones do and decide whether their payment level is acceptable to you.
Fourth, You'll take a lot of qualifiying surveys that don't pay anything but only take a few minutes to complete. Be as honest as you possibly can on these short surveys and take them all, because you'll be matched up with the real paying surveys according to how you respond to these.
Fifth, since you can't know in advance what a prequalifying survey is looking for, it's hard to tip the scales in your favor. Because each survey is looking for a certain type of consumer or patient or client, you may or may not qualify. Don't despair; you will sooner or later. Treat it like a job and when one is completed, go on to the next one.
Sixth, spend a few hours digging up and joining as many survey sites as you can stomach. Most of them will send surveys at the most, once a week. Many of them will only send one a month and some even less than that, so if you want a steady flow of them, sign up for many. The more you join, the more surveys you'll receive. Don't worry about being overwhelmed, although it may feel like it at first. Just go through as many invitations as you can when receive them and ignore the ones you don't have time for. You're not obligated to take every one, but a survey site may close your account if you never take their surveys at all.
Seventh, quantity - how many survey sites you sign up for - will make a big difference in how much you actually make, but quality counts, too. Keep a list of every one you've signed up for, along with every survey you qualify for and complete. Keep track of how much each one owes you and how long it takes to get paid. Over time you can cull this list and only keep the ones you get a good return on. Good record keeping is the only thing that will allow you to see where you may be wasting time and where you can make better use of it.
That's it'; treat survey taking like a second job, get in there and do it. Keep records, adjust your list and you're in the money.
