Individual​s Needed for a National Cancer Institute Study

UserWorks, Inc., a user experience design and usability research firm, is
looking for individuals to participate in a research study for the
National Cancer Institute (NCI), to see how people get the health
information about cancer they need for themselves, their family and their
friends. The one-on-one interview will take approximately 60 minutes to
complete and will be conducted remotely online, by telephone and web
conferencing, from the comfort of your home or office. You will be paid
for your participation.

WHO:
1. Individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer;
2. Friends and family of cancer patients.

WHAT:
A cancer related research study

WHEN:
Wednesday, June 22nd, and Thursday, June 23rd, 2011

WHERE:
Remote online session, by telephone and web conferencing, from the comfort
of your home or office

Thank you for your continued interest in participating in usability
studies and focus groups.

If you know others who might be interested in participating, please have
them reply to recruiter@userworks.com and list “Remote Cancer Study” in
the subject line of their email.  They should include a telephone number
and the best time to reach them in the email, along with the following
information.

1.  If they have been diagnosed with cancer, tell us the type of cancer
and when they were diagnosed.
2.  If they have a friend or family member who has been diagnosed with
cancer, tell us their relationship to the individual, the type of cancer
they were diagnosed with and the year in which they were diagnosed.  Also
tell us how involved they are/were in finding information about their
friend’s/family member’s cancer or cancer treatment.
